It’s been a LONG time!

Hey everyone! I am soooooo sorry for being inactive on my blog these past few months. There has been so much going on and I didn’t quite have the energy to actually sit down to “blog.” If you’re following me or my husband on Instagram, you might already know that we have been very busy. From traveling, his upcoming book release, AND we are expecting our 3rd baby in September! It’s a great year for the Shelton Family and I can’t wait to take you on our journey with us.

Last month, we went on a family trip to Orlando for Spring Break. This was our first time in Orlando and we were so excited for some family fun! We had the pleasure of staying at one of Universal’s hotels, Cabana Bay Beach Resort and it was wonderful!  The hotel made our days at Universal Studios Orlando very convenient. The parks were only a shuttle ride away and the water park was a few minutes walk which had a special entrance for hotel guests. I absolutely enjoyed the retro 50’s/60’s theme too! The hotel’s amenities included two oversized pools with a lazy river and water slide, Starbucks near the lobby, Bay Diner, and 10 alley bowling alley which was a bonus! My husband enjoyed their gym too. There was something great for everyone. If you are planning a trip to Orlando, I want you to check out Cabana Bay Beach Resort! Perfect for families and I know you will love it! Also, let me recommend purchasing the Express Passes for Universal Studios. We are a very impatient family when it comes to waiting in lines and those passes were lifesavers! We were in and out lines in less than 15 minutes. That’s definitely a win for us. Maya and I didn’t ride roller coasters, so it made waiting for Trent and Tristan so much better. My kids can’t stop talking about our trip and we cannot wait to plan more trips back to Orlando in the future. This is what we live for! Creating memories that will last a lifetime.

If you haven’t noticed, we have been flooding our timeline with Trent’s upcoming book release. “The Greatest You” is releasing in less than a month… May 7th to be exact! Speaking of changing lives, we have a new blessing that will be changing our family’s life this year. If you haven’t heard, WE ARE EXPECTING! Our Baby #3 will make his/her appearance in September 2019. We couldn’t be any happier. As of right now, we currently do not know if we are having a boy or girl but we will be happy with either one. September is already a busy month for us since that is Trent’s AND Tristan’s birthday month. Also, our due date is the same as Tristan’s Birthday too. However, we will most likely schedule my c-section a week before my due date. This will be my third c-section and I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t scared. Child birth, itself, is scary… but at least I know what to expect since this is my third one. With God by my side, I know I will be just fine. Praying for a healthy pregnancy, delivery, and baby. 🙏🏼
