Not-Your-Basic Back to School Gear!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut for Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine.
I have to say that this year is one year that we will never forget. Whoever thought that students would be e-learning at such an early age. Homeschooling is also more common than ever too! The summer happened and ended so quick! Want to know a little secret? I didn’t buy school supplies until the day before the first day of school. Thanks goodness for curbside pickup. I didn’t even go through the supply list that was provided by the school. I bought the basics and if he needs more supplies, I’ll just buy as I go.
Tristan has been doing so well as a new middle school student and getting accustomed to having multiple teachers. I told him that he should be glad that he doesn’t have to deal with lockers. 😂 I remember my first day of middle school and it took me FOREVER to get used to opening the locks. I asked him what the best thing about distant learning and he said that he is able to play video games or watch videos in between classes (after completing his work, of course)!
We didn’t get the obligatory “back to school” photo this year but you know what? This year is just out of the ordinary. I did, however, get crafty with my Cricut Maker. I made him a back to school shirt (which he helped me design) and I added vinyl labels on his binders. #cricutcreated
